Teresa Davis – Director of Operations | Art Lead
Teresa serves as Director of Operations and Art Lead, where she brings structure, creativity, and vision to the life of the community. She oversees planning, communication, logistics, and daily systems while also helping ensure that the mission and vision of Wimberley Wellspring remain clearly reflected in how the community operates and grows. Her work provides organizational oversight and coordination, supporting families, teachers, and leadership with excellence and intentional alignment.
With a professional background in executive administration and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa, Teresa teaches upper-level art courses that integrate history, hands-on techniques, and thoughtful discussion. She curates student exhibitions and events that celebrate creativity and reflect her desire to honor God through beauty, stewardship, and meaningful work.
Teresa is highly organized and relational, believing that education thrives through strong systems, clear expectations, and genuine relationships. As a mother, she cares deeply about family, discipleship, and the future of Christian education. She leads with conviction and compassion, striving to follow Christ as faithfully as she can.
Janelle Whitman – Director of Academics | Teacher
Janelle serves as Director of Academics, leading curriculum development, academic standards, and instructional support across the community. She guides scope and sequence, supports teachers in planning and implementation, and helps ensure student learning reflects Wimberley Wellspring’s Christ-centered mission and commitment to academic excellence.
She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education (K–6) from the University of South Florida and taught 5th grade for eight years. Janelle has participated in curriculum adoption at the school level and serves on the WISD Student Health Advisory Committee, contributing to conversations around student learning and well-being.
As an educator and mother, Janelle values clarity, curiosity, and meaningful learning. She is passionate about equipping students and families with a strong academic foundation rooted in faith.
Jessi Rock – Director of Outreach & Facilities
Jessi serves as Director of Outreach and Facilities, where she leads family engagement, community outreach, and care of the physical learning environment. She oversees prospective family connections, campus hospitality, and community events, helping ensure that Wimberley Wellspring grows in a way that is relational, thoughtful, and aligned with its Christ-centered mission.
With a B.A. in Social Science from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Jessi brings a people-centered approach to leadership, emphasizing strong relationships, clear communication, and mission-aligned growth. She works closely with families, partners, and leadership to foster a welcoming culture and meaningful community connections.
Jessi is passionate about creating environments where families feel known, supported, and invited into deeper partnership. Her leadership reflects a commitment to stewardship, hospitality, and growth that is both intentional and sustainable.
Marcie Downing – Events & Community Engagement Lead
Marcie serves as Events & Community Engagement Lead, where she brings energy, creativity, and thoughtful consideration to the life of Wimberley Wellspring. As a natural go-getter with a joyful spirit and a professional background in event planning, Marcie plans and coordinates community events while supporting outreach efforts alongside Jessi, helping families and visitors feel genuinely welcomed and connected.
With extensive experience in event planning and a gift for hospitality, Marcie excels at creating environments that are both welcoming and uplifting. She loves connecting with the local Hill Country community and building meaningful relationships that reflect the heart and mission of Wimberley Wellspring.
As a mother and follower of Christ, Marcie values fellowship, encouragement, and serving others with enthusiasm. Her work reflects her desire to cultivate spaces where families feel known, supported, and part of something purposeful.
